Fun stuff

It was a good day. The sun shone (although it was really cold for this time of year, but I’m not about to get picky!), the kiddos were in great spirits (all three of them at once…a true miracle!), and I managed some time at my sewing table to finish my latest project for Charlotte, a darling little ruffled shirt with matching pants that have her little name written all over them. You should just see her flounce around in these duds!

For this outfit, I used the Sew Baby Twirl Top and Pants Pattern. I absolutely loved everything about it! It worked up easily, and the entire pattern was well written and very thorough. It is a terrific pattern for a semi-advanced beginner, because although it does contain quite a few pattern pieces, each and every step is very straightforward. I was very impressed!

Cecily awoke from her afternoon nap in an absolutely stellar mood, and I finally managed a series of shots that truly look just like her. There is certainly no denying it: this baby is her daddy’s daughter! I could just eat her up.

Hope y’all are having a great week!

That outfit is so adorable. It makes me wish for a little girl! I love that you make your girls outfits. My grandma used to always make my dresses while growing up, and they had to pass my “twirl” test. Cecily is getting so big already! Such a sweet little girl!
