Thanks for sharing these tips, I like to keep a batch of the dry ingrediants for pancakes, makes it so easy to just measuure a cup and add the wet! The onion one is very handy, we always seem to have a few icky ones lurking at the bottm of the fridge!
Looking forward to more tips!
great ideas! I especially like the idea of using canning jars to store left over. Some how my plastic containers and lids never match up- I can see where this would elimate that problem as well.
Hi, there! I love your blog. I’m pretty new to it, as I just found it through a link the Org Junkie put on her blog.
I love your dry mix with the ‘just add’ notes. It’s like having a quick mix, but it’s still homemade and you know exactly what’s in it. Very clever. But wait …. your carrot-yogurt muffins sound good …. is there any way you’d share what the dry ingredient portion of the recipe is? I’d love to make them. Thanks!!
To go along with Kathy’s comment about lids and containers not matching up, some friends of ours number their lids and containers accordingly. This way they know exactly which lid goes with what plastic container and you’re not having to search for that mysterious lid
