Another option would be to……
Turn the finished fabric over when done cutting and put a thin line of gliue on each side of the chevron strip and what ever side tou want to glue down. Then place on the letting. I would let the glue set up a few minutes, rhen take small pieces of stuffing and put it down into the channels. Once full or the way u want it just glue down the other side. Thinking if it’s done like this the chevron strips would pop more
