Hi, Judy! Our fridge is stainless steel, but it must have some sort of magnetic metal underneath the stainless veneer that makes it magnetic? I don’t know the exact content, however. So sorry not to be able to be of more assistance!

I have noticed that yours is stainless steel as well. I did some reading on magnets for stainless steel appliances and it appears that if there is aluminum in the stainless, magnets will work, but if not magnets won’t work on the front of the appliances. I was wondering if you knew the content of the material in your refrigerator-i love your ideas and would like to pass them along to my daughter.
