Ingredients

  • 2 Farm Rich Pimento Cheese Bites
  • 3 slices Monterey Jack cheese
  • 2 mini bell peppers red and orange
  • 1 baby carrot
  • 1 cucumber slice
  • 2 sliced black olives

Instructions

  • Use the piping tip to cut two small half circles from one of the cheese slices. Using the same tip, press the tip down just below the curved edge of each piece to form two crescent shapes.
  • Use the cookie or biscuit cutter to trim two larger half circle pieces from the two remaining cheese slices.
  • Use a paring knife to slice a thin ring from each of the peppers. Cut each of the ring pieces in half.
  • With the paring knife, trim the baby carrot in half. Reserve one half for the owl beak. Slice the remaining piece in half lengthwise, and then cut two triangle notches from the bottom of each half to form owl feet.
  • To assemble the owl snack, place two of the cooked Pimento Cheese Bites side by side on a plate.
  • Center a cucumber slice under the Pimento Cheese Bites, and then place the carrot beak on top of the cucumber slice, nestling it between the bites.
  • Arrange the large half-circle cheese slices on either side of the cucumber, and then place the carrot feet along the bottom edge of the cucumber.
  • Finish by adding a crescent cheese slice and an olive slice on top of each of the Pimento Cheese Bites for the owl's eyes, and then add bell pepper feathers above the eyes.
