I cannot say enough how ecstatic (and admittedly nervous) I am at the thought of being in the company of so many talented bloggers. What a fun ride this will be!
Menu planning this week was all about preparing things that will make it as easy as possible for Mr. Splendid while I’m away at the end of the week. There is no better meal in my arsenal for that than my Lasagna. (Plus, the story behind that recipe, which is actually from my Love Story + Food series, is very near to my heart.) The time investment up front is well worth it, since one pan of lasagna will feed our family of five for three meals, and then a couple of lunch portions, too. Talk about economical!
In other news…I happily made it on to the next round in SYTYC! Did you guess which project was mine last week? My contribution was the Portable Mani/Pedi Kit. Stay tuned for a tutorial later this week!
In other SYTYC news…voting is now on for this week’s Upcycled challenge. There are some terrific contributions this week! I hope you’ll head over to pick your favorite.
