Saturday Seven (No. 12)

May 21, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Welcome! I’m so glad you’re here!

In case you’re new to Positively Splendid, my Saturday Seven lineup is a time I designate each week to share my favorite things from the blogging community from the last seven days. Be it a craft, a DIY project, an event, a recipe, or something else entirely, if I love it, you can count on finding it here!

This week’s lineup is a hodgepodge of various projects, but they are all incredible! I think everyone will be able to find something swoon-worthy in this spread. 🙂

So now, let me present to you (in no particular order) this week’s
Saturday Seven!

No. 1
Sewing Kit in a Jar @ Funkytime

Looking for a unique graduation gift for the girl who has everything? This is perfect! I received a little sewing kit as a grad gift before I headed to college, and I cannot count the number of times I was happy to have it on hand. Slip a little gift card to Target or Bed Bath and Beyond in here, and you’re all set!

No. 2
Chevron Earrings @ Craft-O-Maniac

The bright, fun feel of these immediately grabbed my eye. And I love that Jen refashioned earrings she already had on hand to create these. Perfect!

No. 3
Butterfly Bookpage Wreath @ Mama Says Sew

Ahhhh….those bright colors juxtaposed against those black and white book pages are a sure-fire way into this girl’s heart! Just lovely.

No. 4
Necktie Cookie on a Stick @ Munchkin Munchies

Seriously. How cute are these little guys? What a fun Fathers’ Day idea!

No. 5
Homemade Sugar Scrub @ A Dance for 5

Double yum! I love making skin products at home so I know exactly what goes into them. This is certainly on my list of must-tries!

No. 6
Vintage Wooden Spool Cork Board @ The Silly Pearl

Everything about this is sheer perfection, right down to the very last detail. I want (correction: need!) one for my sewing area. What a bright, happy, vintage-y creation!

No. 7
Blueberry Crumb Bars @ Jam Hands

The ingredients for these will be on my shopping list. This. Week. Oh my gracious, do these every look delicious! The perfect treat with coffee or tea.

Enjoy the rest of your weekend, friends!
