Fur-Trimmed Pillow Cover

Add an elegant touch to your home decor with this lovely faux fur-trimmed pillow. Accented with an optional bow in any color, this is a pillow that can be displayed throughout the winter months, even after Christmas has come and gone. Pillow covers like this one also make perfect handmade holiday gifts, too!

Fur-Trimmed Pillow - So easy and elegant, and perfect for keeping out all winter long.

For this project, you will need…

  • White matelasse fabric – 1 piece at 18×18” and 1 piece at 12×18”
  • Lining/backing fabric (I used grey Kona cotton) – 3 pieces at 12×18”
  • 1” fur piping trim – 18”
  • Coordinating thread
  • 18” pillow insert
  • 1.5” grosgrain ribbon – 18” (optional)
  • Hand-sewing needle
