Today’s Swell Noël Post features a fabulous take on the chalkboard projects that are so current: print and make your own set of festive ornaments, with printables compliments of Kiki at Kiki Creates! Catch up on all of the projects from the series by visiting the photo guide of all of the ideas shared by the talented Swell Noël contributors, and follow along as things happen on Twitter, Facebook, Google+, Pinterest and Instagram by using the hashtag #SwellNoel.

I am so happy to be here today for Swell Noel. I adore Amy and her amazing style and talent and am so inspired each time I visit. My name is Kiki and I blog at Kiki and Company where I share loads of free printables, diy projects, tutorials and more! First of all, Happy Thanksgiving! What an amazing day to start out the Christmas season with…I hope yours has been wonderful. I love Christmas more than any other time of the year. This year, I have LOVED the chalkboard art craze. I made a new print this year that I am blowing up to 3 feet by 4 feet to grace my entryway. I also have a tree that will stand close to it and wanted a fun way to decorate it to keep the look cohesive.

Here are my new chalkboard art inspired Christmas ornaments:

I love how classic and simple they are..with just the perfect message on them.

Here is the size comparison when they are together.

To make these ornaments, simply download the file and print it out. You can print it on thick cardstock, or in my case, I had them printed, cut them out and used spray adhesive to adhere to foam core. Using an exacto knife I cut out the ornaments and then used a Crop-A-Dile to get the hole in the top. I strung some shimmery ribbon through the top and tied them on the tree.

One of my favorite things about being a designer, is being able to just whip things up as I want need them. My other favorite thing is sharing them!

To download the files, go HERE.

Also, if you’d like to add the print that these ornaments were inspired from, you can check it out HERE.

I’d love for you to visit me here: Blog//Facebook//Pinterest//Twitter

Thanks so much for having me, Amy…and Happy Holidays!
