I love that this design is quick and easy even for beginners, and since I stitched it up on a handy stitch blank from Bucilla, displaying the finished project is as easy as can be! The Bucilla Ready to Stitch Blanks come in two different sizes–6 and 10 inches–in black, white and cream colors, making them incredibly versatile and perfect for any number of stitchery projects. The blanks are wrapped in 14-count aida fabric on a sturdy wood frame, which means you never have to worry about fabric fraying as you stitch. (Nice!) And because the fabric is neatly wrapped and ready to go from the start, there is no need for a hoop while stitching or a frame to display the finished project.
This hedgehog cross stitch pattern was made specifically for the 6-inch stitch blank. I love the way the colors pop against the black blank I used here, but I think it would look great stitched up on the white blank, too!
