Saturday Standouts

October 23, 2010 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

I never cease to be amazed at the abundance of creativity that emanates from every corner of the blogging community. Here are a few of the projects I’ve come across this week that have caught my eye.

This Yarn Candy Corn at Write it Down is truly one of the cutest and most innovative Halloween decoration ideas I’ve seen all year! Definitely a must-do at Chez Splendid next year.

I will certainly be giving this lovely Fabric Slipper Pattern (offered for FREE on Prudent Baby) a go as I’m starting to work on my handmade Christmas gifts. Although I might just have to make a pair for myself first to make doubly sure they are as cozy as they look. **winks**

Jen at Tatertots and Jello has done it once again. Her Thankful Garland is as beautiful as it is meaningful. I adore this idea!

I have been thinking about Lindsay from The Cottage Home’s Avocado Bread since this luscious photo arrived in my reader yesterday morning. Oh my stars – does that look heavenly, or what? YUM!

Ok, my friends. Y’all go out and enjoy your weekend! That’s an order. 😉

I’d love to know what gifts you are planning to make for Christmas this year. I’m trying to make most of my gifts this year.
