Saturday Seven

February 19, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Each week, I am going to start sharing my Saturday Seven:

Seven projects,
ideas,
recipes,
events,
etc.

…that have really wowed me during the week!

So now, in no particular order, SEVEN things I’ve adored in the last SEVEN days!

{one}
The Winter Wonderland Dress @ The Cottage Home

Lindsay is honestly one of my sewing idols, right behind my very talented mama. And this dress, friends, is a perfect example of exactly why I love her work so much. The richness of the fabrics…that little ruffle detail…that hat! This is sheer creative perfection.

{two}
Dutch-Style Faux Pantry @ Tidbits from the Tremaynes
(via Sew Dang Cute)

I have never, ever, ever in my life seen a molding project as amazing as this one. You absolutely must see the before and after. Mandi was the Season 2 winner of the Crafting with the Stars contest over at Sew Dang Cute, and it is plain to see why she came out on top. Wowzers!

{three}
Kitchen Command Station @ Tatertots and Jello

To know Jen of TT&J is to love her. She is as genuine as they come, and her talent never ceases to amaze me. She took what would be a ho-hum necessity like a kitchen organizing station and turned it into something utterly fabulous. I need to get my act in gear putting something similar together for our new kitchen!

{four}
Birthday Subway Art @ Oopsey Daisy

I have seen subway art utilized in a variety of ways, but until Alison shared this project she created for her son’s birthday party, I had never seen it used for a birthday party. What a terrific idea, and something that can be utilized for personalized room decor long after the streamers and balloons have come down!

{five}
Spring Flower Tee @ Liberty Original

Could this design possibly be any more of a knock-out? The colors and dimension of this project are truly swoon-worthy!

{six}
Pleated Basket Liners @ Attempting Aloha
For a future set of Diaper Box Canvas Bins, I will most certainly be giving these little darlings a try. Love those pleats!
{seven}

Spring Fling @ This Blessed Nest

I have to be honest. I am so. over. winter. O-V-E-R it. (Except for Lindsay’s dress above. 😉 So when I saw Kellie’s announcement over at her place this week about the Spring Fling link-ups she’ll be hosting every Wednesday in March, I was absolutely giddy! Grab a button and spread the word. This is going to be fun!

Thanks so much for reading! Enjoy your weekend!
