Saturday Seven (No. 3)

March 12, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Happy Saturday, everyone!

Sending up so many prayers for those in Japan. What a swath of destruction was left behind by the earthquake and the subsequent tsunami and aftershocks.

In case you’re new to Positively Splendid, each Saturday I share seven projects that have caught my eye in blogland throughout the week. I have a marvelous lineup to share today, so let’s get right to it! In no particular order, my
Saturday Seven!

No. 1
Personalized Hershey Kiss Boxes @ Infarrantly Creative

Beckie and her blog are a constant source of inspiration for me, and the moment I saw this little project, I was smitten! What a fun idea that could easily be used for any number of occasions!

No. 2
Paper Flower Spring Wreath @ Pretty Handy Girl

I had the privilege to meet Brittany at Blissdom in January, and she is such a genuine, beautiful person. Her blog is a wealth of incredible home DIY projects, the likes of which I could only aspire to replicate! The base for this gorgeous wreath is one she has redecorated for every season, but I have to say that this incarnation is my favorite, by far! Aren’t those flowers absolutely lovely?

No. 3
Washer and Bead Bracelet @ Kiki Creates

Have you ventured over to Kiki Creates yet? It is one of my recent discoveries, and it has quickly become one of my must-reads. This girl is amazing! This little bracelet she made (as well as a little gift bag to go along with it) is a terrific example of her creative genius. Why had I never thought of using Staz-On ink for projects like this? Brilliant!

No. 4
Springtime Baby Carrots @ Homework, Etc.

Cardstock. Yarn. Glue. That’s all that is needed to whip up a batch of these little darlings. Seriously. Aren’t these about the cutest things ever? The moment I happened upon them, I fell in love!

No. 5
Leprechaun Jello @ Random Thoughts of a Supermom

If you have kids and are always on the lookout for fun ways to delight and impress them, Kelli’s blog needs to become one of your regular reads! She never ceases to impress me with her fabulous ideas. I love the idea to make these little Leprechaun Jello desserts as a St. Patty’s Day treat! I love that little gold coin peeking out from the top layer!

No. 6
Nursery Wall Hangings made by PS Reader Aleen

One of my lovely readers, Aleen, was inspired by my Personalized Nursery Wall Hangings to create a set of her own canvases for her new baby girl. Didn’t they turn out fabulous? I love the phrase she used!

No. 7
St. Patty’s Day Printable @ Less Cake {More Frosting}

Honestly, I think this sweet little number speaks for itself. 😉 If you do not read Lara’s blog regularly, you are missing out! She is witty, hilarious and crazy talented! And, she shares FREE printables like this one on a regular basis. Love!
