Top Eleven in 2011

I have loved seeing all of the “Best of” posts throughout the blogging world this week. It is always fun to look back at where I started a year, and how much I’ve accomplished creatively in just one trip around the sun!
This lineup represents the eleven most popular posts at Positively Splendid during 2011 according to your pageviews.

one. Diaper Box Canvas Bins

Wow! This was the little project that could! It is a distinct possibility that if you are reading today, you initially found your way here because of these bins. I have been so amazed by the response to this one!

I’m already looking forward to hanging this one again in the spring. Those roses are so incredibly easy to assemble!

I still love this pillow for its mod sensibility. I will never tire of freezer paper stenciling!

four. Whimsical Nursery Wall Hangings

Such a sweet project for a little one. These are still hanging above Miss Cecily’s crib.

five. Tiered Terracotta Planter

This project and the next in the lineup were actually posted in 2010, but they showed up again in this year’s most-viewed lineup. Seeing our old house number makes me feel so nostalgic!

six. DIY Citronella Candles

Take that, cheap, ineffective, store-bought citronella candles!

seven. Framed Burlap Earring Holder

This was literally a 30-minute project. Love it!

eight. Hands Memory Book

Truly, one of my absolute favorites!

nine. Fathers’ Day Photo Collage

Mr. Splendid has had this displayed on his desk at work since Father’s Day, and he says he still gets compliments on it at least once a week. Such a great gift!

ten. Bolero from a Refashioned Tee

Take something plainly frumpy. Turn it into something lovely and fun to wear!

eleven. Canvas Bunny Easter Buckets

I’ll be needing to make another of these for sweet George this year. I’d better hop to it. ;)

Did your favorite project make the lineup? I not, I’d love to hear! Knowing what you enjoy helps me plan ahead for what to share in 2012!

I think I found your blog via pinterest… and it was the diaper bins that caught my attention. :) I guess you could say it was hit. I hope to tackle that soon in a room make-over come 2012.

Beautiful, Amy!! Love them all!! I recovered a wipes box with burlap early this year, too and remember seeing your after (but yours was posted first) and thinking, “Wow! Great minds think alike!”

We’ve gotta get more mileage out of those stinking expensive baby items, right? ;)
