Festive Holiday Gift Tags (New Lifestyle Crafts!)

September 20, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Lifestyle Crafts is unveiling their new Christmas line today, and there are some gorgeous products available!

In a word, the Be Splendid. line is, well, truly splendid!
Betcha can’t guess what about that name had me smitten right from the start. 😉

I used my dies to create some fun tags for Christmas gifts. Below is a list of the products I used for these little guys:

My Epic Combo Kit
Red Cardstock
Santa Silhouette Die
Reindeer Die
Jubilee Printing Plates
Letterpress Ink in Gold and Teal Blue
Letterpress Mini-Fold Cards in White
Scrapbooking Adhesive

I love tinkering with the letterpress capabilities of this machine. The embossed, colorful result is downright professional. I never cease to be amazed that I can achieve this look at home! I used my printing plates and ink to embellish each of my cards, and then I used the same damask plate from the Jubilee set to dry emboss my red cardstock before cutting my dies from it. After that, I simply used my adhesive to adhere all of my elements together. So simple! In just an hour or so, you can easily stockpile a stash of cards to ensure your holiday gifts will all be outfitted in style!
