Saturday Seven (No. 15)

June 11, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Welcome! Thanks so much for stopping in!

It’s another bea-U-tiful Saturday, which means it’s time for me to turn the Positively Splendid spotlight on some very stellar projects!

New to Positively Splendid? Each Saturday marks my Saturday Seven, a place where I share my seven favorite finds from the blogging community from the last seven days. Whether it be a project, a recipe, an event, or something else entirely, if I love it, you can count on finding it here!

So – let’s get right to it! I present to you (in no particular order) this week’s
Saturday Seven!

No. 1
Thankfulness Printable @ Bugaboo, Mini Mr & Me

This will be promptly printed and displayed on my sewing desk. Isn’t this sentiment fantastic?

No. 2
Hospital Survival Kit @ My Own Road

With babies on the brain, this fun little idea immediately grabbed my attention: make a bag of goodies full of essentials like snacks, lip balm and hair ties for an expecting mom to take with her to the hospital. So brilliant – and thoughtful!

No. 3
The Craf-“Tee” Tote @ Brassy Apple

This tutorial. All I can say is wow. Megan’s creativity never ceases to amaze me, and the way she thrives on thinking outside the box is such an inspiration!

No. 4
Be Nice or Leave Cushion @ Life of the Cocktail Party

I literally laughed out loud the moment I saw this. Too cleverly hysterical not to share!

No. 5
Ribbon Flowers @ Something About Katie

Aren’t these just lovely? Something about the luster of that satin ribbon and those jewel centers drew me in from the start! I can see these as the perfect way to punch up a handbag or a plain-jane tee.
No. 6
Mason Jar Sippy Cups @ Two Shades of Pink
I am loving the abundance of marvelous Mason jar ideas this summer. I have always thought using them for beverages for the adults at parties was the only option, but this how-to turns them into the perfect vessels for the little ones’ drinks, too! What a perfect idea for summer entertaining!

No. 7
Strawberry Lemonade Scones @ Munchkin Munchies

I have been dreaming of this scones. No kidding. I have in mind to hit up the market later this morning so we can enjoy a batch tomorrow. Yum!
