R.I.P., Mr. Vacuum

April 7, 2010 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Our first acquisition as a married couple, a little Kenmore vacuum cleaner, went down (literally) in flames today. It was 7 years old. You should’ve seen the size of Jack and Charlotte’s eyes as I scrambled to ascertain the source of all that black smoke!

Thank you for your years of service, Mr. Vacuum. You really sucked…up a lot of dirt, that is. 😉

That stinks…but I guess seven years is pretty good for a vacuum! Now you get to upgrade:)

I can’t believe your lasted 7 years!! We bought a Hoover in November and it died last week…luckily it is under warranty! But it is going to take 3 weeks to have it fixed…

My vacuum did the same thing yesterday. That black smoke stunk something awful. I really don’t want to research to find a new one but guess I must.

It’s amazing that it lasted that long! I have the worst luck with vacuums. You’d think I’d just invest in the Dyson…but ahh..I’m too cheap!
