The winter storm that had every Arkansan aflutter all last week finally arrived Friday into Saturday. The kiddos were thrilled to see some white stuff, but unfortunately, a half inch of ice covered with perhaps a millimeter of snow doesn’t really make for very favorable snow angel conditions. 😉 No matter; we had tons of fun playing outside in our Southern rendition of a winter wonderland!
Might I just add that all of you northerners have my utmost respect for being able to tolerate conditions that necessitate bundling your small children up day in and day out? By the time we had lived through the ordeal of donning coats and hats and scarves and gloves, we were almost too pooped to head out and play!
Of course, any good snow day requires a yummy cup of hot cocoa. 🙂
