DIY Cheesecloth Ghosts

October 15, 2015 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

One of my most vivid Halloween memories from my childhood is my mom making a fun set of cheesecloth ghosts. I can still recall how magical I thought those ghosts were, since I could see right through them but they could stand all on their very own! This year, I decided to create some magical memories for my own children by making a cute cheesecloth ghost of our very own. Featuring adorable oversized googly eyes and a cute little hairbow, these DIY cheesecloth ghosts are a perfect family-friendly Halloween craft.

Over at the Darice blog, Live. Craft. Love., I share the full how-to for how to make one of these little darlings. The entire process is as easy as can be–truly!

Although I opted to make our ghost girly with a cute bow, these can be embellished any way that suits your fancy to create boy ghosts, too. A fun idea would be to attach a bit of twine through the top of the ghosts to hang from a tree or doorway to greet trick-or-treaters on Halloween night.
