With July 4th right around the corner, now would be a perfect time to craft a pretty patriotic wreath to display all summer long. Over at the Darice blog, Live. Craft. Love., I recently shared an easy tutorial for a DIY burlap and star July 4th wreath featuring plenty of fun texture and color. This wreath would look fantastic in any space: on a front door, mantel, and more!
What I love most about this wreath is that it is a project that looks so much more complex to make that it actually is! Requiring just a handful of inexpensive supplies, this would be a great project to make with friends for a fun craft night.
In the tutorial, I give step-by-step instructions for how the wreath comes together. The layered dimension of the stars in this project really makes everything pop!
These star embellishments would also make terrific Christmas ornaments (it’s never too late to plan ahead for holiday crafting!), or they would be fun strung together on a garland, too!
