Knock Off Decor

April 27, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Do y’all remember the post I recently shared about the affliction I suffer from called Gotta-have-it-itis? Nothing will prompt another relapse of that insidious illness faster than browsing my latest Pottery Barn, Ballard or Crate & Barrel catalogs. There are so many beautiful things calling my name, but with a budget that squeaks, what’s a girl to do?

Leave it to my talented friend Beckie to answer that question for me.

First and foremost, Beckie is as good as gold, and her talent is epic. Seriously. This girl can take a curbside castaway and turn it into something not only usable, but downright lovely, and to an enviable extent. She’s flexed her creative muscles at her blog Infarrantly Creative for over three years now, but recently she started a new blog, Knock Off Decor, which is dedicated entirely to showcasing knock-off versions from other talented bloggers of the items splashed across the pages of those catalogs you dog-ear like a maniac the moment they arrive in your mailbox. (Or am I the only one who does that?)

Just check out some of the lovelies you’ll find during a visit to Knock Off Decor.

From Beckie…

…Out of my love of inspiring others Knock Off Decor began. I hope to showcase the amazing work of some seriously talented designers while giving those with less of a budget a chance to mimic them. Because after all “imitation is the highest form of flattery.”

I hope you’ll head over to Knock Off Decor to pay Beckie a visit. You’ll be inspired from the very first click!
