Saturday Seven (No. 22)

September 10, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Happy Saturday!!

I’ve got fall on my mind, which is certainly reflected in this week’s Saturday Seven lineup!

New to Positively Splendid? Each Saturday marks my Saturday Seven, a place where I share my seven favorite finds from the blogging community from the last seven days. Whether it be a project, a recipe, an event, or something else entirely, if I love it, you can count on finding it here!

So let’s get down to business! I present to you (in no particular order) this week’s
Saturday Seven!

No. 1
Felt Flower Wreath @ Nest of Posies

I want one of these beauties for my front door! I love the juxtaposition of those bold fall colors against that black and white. Miss Kellie hit this one out of the park!

No. 2
Felt Apple Book @ Gluesticks

What a darling activity book and related story for little ones. Love this sweet idea!

No. 3
Special Message Potholder @ Skip to My Lou via Flamingo Toes

Hello, perfect Christmas gift idea! That notebook paper stitching is pure genius.

No. 4
Gold Thumbtack Wreath @ Madigan Made

This project represented the biggest “wow” moment of the week for me. What a brilliant, innovative idea, and one that is perfect for a number of seasons!

No. 5
Book Page Pumpkin @ Creations by Kara

I want a little family of these beauties! Love the idea of using an old, castaway object to create something lovely.

No. 6
Fall Embroidery Hoop Door Hanging @ Tatertots and Jello

The colors. The stitching. Well – everything. This project makes my heart sing!

No. 7
Pumpkin Spice Sugar Cookies @ Jewel Bakes

If these cookies are even half as delicious as they are precious, sign me up for a baker’s dozen!

***

I am working like a madwoman on Baby Cuatro’s nursery this weekend. I am hoping to wrap up the majority of the remaining projects so I can put the finishing touches on the space this week! Which, it’s about time, considering I’ll be considered full-term (37 weeks) tomorrow. Where did the time go?!

In honor of the baby’s impending arrival, I have some fun lined up for next week. Curious as to what it might be? Here’s a hint to pique your interest. 🙂
