Saturday Seven Spotlight

December 24, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Good morning! And happy Christmas Eve!

I have a lineup of amazing projects to share from last week’s Saturday 7 party, but before I go on, let me announce that there will be no Saturday 7 party tonight so that everyone can spend lots of marvelous time with family and friends!

Things will be back in effect next Saturday, so if you get a chance to take a few minutes away from your New Year’s Eve festivities, I hope you’ll stop by then to share your latest and greatest!

Let’s get right to your creativity, shall we? Below is just a sampling of some of the projects (in no particular order) that caught my eye from last week’s soiree!

one. Sugar Mold Centerpiece @ Hoot Designs

It’s official: I am now on the prowl for an antique sugar mold. This is so lovely!

two. Kitchen Makeover @ All Things Homie

This is such an inspiring transformation! Head over to see the before and after.

three. Umbrella Girl Painting @ Hayes House

Jessica says her painting skills are beginner, but I have to adamantly disagree. This rendition of a painting she first spotted on Pinterest is beautiful!

four. Teddy Sleds @ Gluesticks

Aren’t these little guys adorable? What a great way to have some fun with candy canes left over after the holidays!

five. Christmas Wreath @ The Turquoise Piano

The elegant simplicity of this wreath is stunning!

six. Mince Pies @ At Home with Mrs. H

Aren’t these miniature goodies almost too cute to eat? Imagine how darling this same concept would be with cherry pie filling and heart cutouts for Valentine’s Day!

seven. Christmas Breakfast Ideas @ It’s Overflowing

I can’t imagine how delighted my little monkeys would be to see these on the table tomorrow morning! There are two yummy recipes in this post, so you must venture over to check out both.

From the Positively Splendid family to yours, may you have a truly blessed, truly magical Christmas!

Do not pray for smooth roads, always pray for guts to cross them smoothly. Do not pray for easy targets, always pray for the power to complete your tasks. I wish you good luck for your journey. Marry Christmas and Happy New 2012 Year.

    Best regards
