I am super-duper excited to announce today an event that will be taking place here at Positively Splendid throughout the month of May!

Going from school days to the summer daze can be a hard transition. Trying hard to find ways to pursue your own creative endeavors while juggling trips to the pool and planning things to keep kiddos occupied can all boil down to one fact: summer vacation can sometimes amount to a lot of work! That is why I am hosting an event at Positively Splendid called the Summer Survival Guide: Tips, Ideas and Inspiration to Make Your Summer Splendid.

With an all-star lineup of terrific bloggers who will come each week to share summer recipes, kid-friendly craft tutorials (to combat the dreaded cases of bored-itis that inevitably crop up after the kids have been out of school for all of a week!), gardening tips, outdoor party/decor tips, and made-in-a-flash crafting/sewing/etc. ideas, you won’t want to miss a single day of this event! And to further sweeten the deal, each Friday will bring a marvelous giveaway!

With kiddos underfoot and the poolside beckoning, let’s face it: summer isn’t always considered the high time for creative endeavors. With the Summer Survival Guide in your arsenal, though, I think you’ll find that you can keep your creative spark going even during the summer months!

Feel free to grab a button to spread the word about the event!

Be on the lookout for a fun project tomorrow and a BIG giveaway on Thursday that you certainly do not want to miss!
