Weekly Plan and a Recap of a Fun Visit

February 13, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Happy Sunday, friends!

I hope you’re all enjoying your weekend! It feels as though spring has sprung (at least temporarily!) here in middle Tennessee, and we are making the most of it by spending lots of time outdoors and firing up the grill tonight. Love it!

This week, I had the opportunity to connect in person with a blogger I’ve gotten to know over the course of the last year or so, the immensely talented

Michele of The Scrap Shoppe.

Michele’s blog is full of lovely creations like this stunning button bib necklace…

…and these lovely faux ceramic roses she created from scrapbook paper. (Can you believe it?) Michele wore one of these on a necklace when we met, and I was coveting it throughout dinner!

Michele and her son joined me and my crazy crew for dinner, and we had a great time! Michele is as genuine and darling of a person as they come, and we had so much fun chatting about blogging and creating and everything in between. I am so thrilled to live just down the road from her now!
