My very favorite thing to bake during the holidays are tea cake cookies – this is a very special (and simple!) family recipe passed down from my dad’s grandmother and our cookie baking/decorating night has been a family tradition forever. The tea cake cookies are light, with just a hint of sweetness. The real treat is in the texture of these cookies – they’re slightly crisp around the edges and perfect pillows in the center. YUM! I’m already looking forward to our cookie baking and decorating night at my parent’s 🙂
