So, y’all might have heard somewhere along the way that I recently participated in a little contest called So You Think You’re Crafty. It was a truly memorable, motivating experience. I would be remiss not to send out a genuine word of congratulations to the Season 6 winner, Melissa. Week after week, she shared innovative, unique projects. It was a pleasure creating with you, Melissa!
Along the course of my SYTYC journey, I’ve shared my creations with you. What I haven’t done, though, is share the projects created by the other contestants that really wowed me. And trust me – there were many! The lineup of contestants this season continually stepped up to each week’s challenge to contribute creative, fresh ideas. Today, I thought I’d use my Saturday Seven lineup to share a few of my favorites!
A little factoid y’all might not know about me: I’m a fluent Spanish-speaker. So these little guys won me over immediately! What a truly creative idea to help kiddos learn the Spanish words for eating accouterments!
I hope everyone has had a great weekend so far. I’ve had a great, nausea-free and energetic day, so mine has been marvelous! And it’s about to get better since my sweet hubs is making me my all-time favorite food tonight: green chile cheeseburgers!
