Valentine’s Day Embroidery Hoop Art

A sweet reminder of some of the ones you love most, my Valentine’s Day embroidery hoop art is an easy craft project perfect for anyone wanting a meaningful way to accent their valentine decor. This project is perfect for displaying children’s names, but it would also be great to give as a handmade wedding gift for a lucky couple! Let me fill you in on all of the details for how this project comes together.

For this project, you will need…

  • 8.5” wood embroidery hoop
  • Acrylic paint
  • Foam brush
  • 12” square of canvas fabric
  • Water-soluble pen
  • Shears
  • Letter stamps
  • Ink pad suitable for fabric (such as Versacraft)
  • Wool felt in assorted colors
  • Embroidery floss
  • Embroidery needle
  • Hot glue
  • Buttons or other embellishments (optional)
