Candy Corn Halloween Jumpers

October 10, 2012 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Once again, my sweet mom (known around here as Mama Reita) has gone above and beyond with the girls’ Halloween outfits this year. Really, does it get any cuter?
Oh, how Cecily adores her big sis.
Mama Reita is a true applique wiz, and she always finds the cutest designs! This candy corn design is from DigiStitches, and it is available as a FREE download for all of their Facebook fans. Isn’t that generous?
Mom used our all-time favorite A-Line Tops and Dresses pattern from the Scientific Seamstress, and the coordinating blouse is worked up from the Lulu pattern by Juvie Moon. I cannot say enough how much I adore these little blouses! They are perfect for putting under jumpers like this, but they are also terrific for layering to extend the life of summer sundresses.
To round out Miss Charlotte’s outfit, I picked up a pair of fun knee socks from Target. These will also be making an appearance in her Halloween costume this year. 🙂

My girls are so lucky to have such stylish duds to wear again this Halloween. Thanks, Mom!
Be sure to check out Mama Reita’s other darling creations here!

Oh. My. Gosh!!!! I love this so much!!!!

I had never heard of Digistitches before and I just went to their website and downloaded a TON of stuff. (I used to stick to only two embroidery design websites – Now I will use this one all the time!) The appliques are just darling and I cannot wait to try them out!

You are the best – I am so glad I followed your blog!
