Bunny Tail Oreo Pop Instructions

Melt the candy melts according to the product package instructions. If you prefer, you can make the Oreo bunnies any color you wish. Pink, purple, yellow and other spring colors would be really great for these!

How to Make Bunny Bottom Oreos

If you are making just the bunny tail Oreos without the lollipop sticks, continue reading below.

To make the bunny Oreos on a stick, gently open up each Oreo. Press a lollipop stick that has been dipped into the melted candy coating into the cream center of the cookie. Dip the back side of the opposite cookie half into the candy coating, and then press both halves back together. (The candy coating will act as the glue that keeps your cookie intact while you are dipping the Oreos later on.) Chill the cookies until the candy coating is set, about 10 minutes.

Use kitchen shears to snip the marshmallows in half lengthwise, as shown.

Dip each cookie into the candy coating, using the lollipop stick to hold the cookies as you dip. (For bunny tail Oreos without a lollipop stick, use a fork to help dip the Oreos to keep hands tidy.) Allow the excess candy coating to drip off of the cookies before placing each one on a piece of wax paper. How to Make Oreo Pops

Working quickly while the candy coating is still wet, press two bunny feet onto the lower edge of each dipped Oreo.

If desired, some festive green curly ribbon “grass” can be tied onto the stick of each bunny tail Oreo pop for an extra festive touch.Bunny Tail Oreo Pops

These adorable bunny Oreos are equally fun on their own without a lollipop stick, too!

Bunny Tail Oreo Q&A

Can I use regular Oreos for to make the bunny Oreo pops?

Absolutely! I used the Golden Oreos to prevent the dark color of the cookie from showing through the white candy coating. If using regular chocolate Oreos, you might have to coat the cookies with more than one layer of the candy coating.

Can these bunny bottom Oreos be made ahead of time?

Prepared cookies can be stored in an air-tight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.

Do you have any other Easter food craft projects to share?

I sure do! These donut bunny pops are super fun to make and eat, too.
