Friday Spotlight

June 11, 2010 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Happy Friday! We are hoping that today is the day for all of my son’s stitches to finally come out. We are so ready to head to the pool to beat this crazy heat we’ve already been experiencing in our neck of the woods!

I am so excited about the blog I will be sharing with you today. I think as bloggers, we should never discount the fact that we have an amazing opportunity to build meaningful friendships through our blogging efforts. I have been so blessed over the course of the last little while to get to know the immensely talented lady whose blog I will be spotlighting today.

Meet
Janna from Cut & Create!

Many of you might already be familiar with Janna’s work, even if you don’t know her by name. She is a regular contributor to Scrapbooks, Etc. magazine, and if you are familiar with the Executive Homemaker, you recently have seen her gorgeous digital designs and wares. Folks, Janna just about does it all! In addition to her gorgeous paper projects, she has a knack for sewing and creating meaningful home decor (a concept very near to my heart!). I think somehow, some way, she and I were separated at birth. 🙂

Janna’s eye for design is nothing short of amazing. Layouts like this one were what made me fall in love with her work. Just look at her use of all of that vibrant color and texture! Seriously up my alley.

Janna does a fun thing she calls Free For All Fridays, where she gives away some of her gorgeous digital design elements. My favorite is this printable wall art she shared last month. I need to do something with this soon!

Prepare to swoon. Janna’s Whimsy Shoppe, her online boutique where she sells her hand-crafted jewelry, accessories and digital kits is so brimming with goodness, I scarcely know where to begin. I adore this pretty packages kit…

…And just look at this gorgeous gem of a necklace. Yes indeed. This girl is good.

Take a little bit sometime soon to stop by Janna’s place to explore. These projects merely scratch the surface of the scope of her amazing talent!

A happy welcome to everyone stopping by from
New Friend Friday
and
Follow Me Friday!
I am so glad you’re here!
