I {Heart} My Facebook Fans!

March 29, 2012 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Hello, friends!

This post is coming a bit later in the day than usual, because I have been working as fast as my little fingers could possibly go to wrap up working on the brand-new Positively Splendid Facebook Fan Page. I am tickled to announce that the final touches are now complete, and I would love for y’all to take a little tour of the new space with me!

I know there have been mixed reviews of the new Timeline Facebook format, but I have to say that so far, I really, really like it! I love that it has given me the opportunity to give the page a nice, homey feel with a customized header showcasing a few of my favorite projects.

What I love best of all about the new setup, though, is the collection of tabs I’ve added just below the page header.

These give you the opportunity to connect with PS in so many different ways, so much more than with the old Fan Page format!

There are six tabs in all. Let’s talk about what you’ll find behind each one:

  • Photos: See the latest photos of PS projects, as well as PS-inspired project photos shared by fans like you!
  • Meet Amy: A great place to start when visiting the page, this tab tells you a bit about me and what PS is all about.
  • Today at PS: With one click, you are taken straight to the PS blog home page, so you never miss a single post!
  • FREE Gift!: How much do I love my Facebook fans? Enough to offer them an exclusive, never-before-seen project tutorial and free pattern you won’t find anywhere else!
  • PS on Pinterest: Check out the projects and ideas I’m pinning right now.
  • Let’s Connect!: The spot to ensure you never miss a single PS update, with links to Twitter, my RSS feed and other subscription options.

The PS Fan Page is a great place to interact with others in the PS community of crafters, and it’s the perfect place to ask questions or get more information about projects and ideas you see here on the blog.

One terrific feature on the new page is the option to send me a message directly from the Fan Page itself. By simply clicking on the Message tab you see here…

…you will be taken directly to a form where you can send me a question, make a comment, or share whatever else is on your mind!

If you haven’t already joined the PS Facebook family, I would love for you to do so today.

And when you do, don’t forget to pick up your free gift so that I can thank you from the bottom of my heart for doing so! 🙂
