Neighbors, teachers and friends – oh my! The holidays are a time when a quick and easy, but fun and memorable gift, is just what the doctor ordered. The darling Jamielyn from I {heart} Nap Time is here today sharing a gift idea that fits that bill and then some!

Hey friends! I’m Jamielyn from I {heart} Nap Time and I’m so excited to be here today to show you how to make this super easy Christmas gift!

Well let me introduce myself first 😉 …

I’m Jamielyn. I’m a hopeless chocolate addict. Sometimes known to eat chocolate chip cookie dough straight from the bowl. Mama to two chubbies and married to one sexy man. My days are full of chasing my little monkeys, cleaning messes (it’s like shoveling in a snow storm) pinterest, snuggling, avoiding the ever-growing pile of laundry, e-mails, play-dough, crafting and wondering “Is it nap time yet?!”

Today I’m going to show you have to make a cute and easy sugar cookie gift. I thought this would be such a fun gift to give to your neighbors, teachers and friends. The nice thing about it is… there’s no baking involved, your neighbors aren’t swarmed with a million cookies all in one night and it gives them a fun holiday activity they can do together as a family.

So first we’re going to make the sprinkles jar. All I did was dump my sprinkles into a mason jar and top it with a cupcake wrapper. Then tied it together with some ric rac and twine. I also added a little flower on top… but it would be fun to make a little tag as well.

So now that you have your cute sprinkles jar (so fun huh?!) you’re going to start putting together your box.

I found this box at HL last year for a dollar after Christmas. That is the perfect time to buy Christmas décor! Anyways… all your need is a sugar cookie mix, sprinkles jar and cookie icing. You could even go all out and make homemade frosting! 😉

Then I tied the box with ribbon and one of these pinwheels (you can find the tutorial here).

That’s all! Simple as that… and your friends are sure going to love it! Wouldn’t you love to receive that box?!
Thanks ladies for having me today! I’d love to k.i.t! Find me blogging at I {heart} Naptime. Chat with me on FB and Twitter.

What a festive and fun idea, Jamielyn! I would love to receive one of these, and I’d be happy to give them as gifts! Thanks so much for stopping by.

I love the sprinkles jar! It was such a good idea to add the cupcake liner on top. It really spruces up the jar and gives it that extra something!
