Saturday Seven (No. 28)

October 29, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

Happy Saturday, friends!!

New to Positively Splendid? Each Saturday marks my Saturday Seven, a place where I share my seven favorite finds from the blogging community from the last seven days. Whether it be a project, a recipe, an event, or something else entirely, if I love it, you can count on finding it here!

So let’s get down to business! I present to you (in no particular order) this week’s
Saturday Seven!

No. 1
Dot-Painted China @ Under the Sycamore

This technique is absolutely gorgeous! What a marvelous gift idea to spruce up inexpensive wares from the dollar store.

No. 2
Eclectic Braided Bracelet @ The Scrap Shoppe

My sweet friend (and fellow Tennessean!) Michele truly hit this one out of the park! So lovely.

No. 3
Yellow Iron Bed @ Everyday Lovely

The vibrant yellow color juxtaposed against the richness of the teal accents here is absolutely stunning! Wow!

No. 4
Little Pinocchio Costume @ Persia Lou

Ok. This pint-sized lederhosen is about THE cutest handcrafted costume I’ve seen all year long! And that little hat? Darling!

No. 5
Paper Towel Roll Party Favors @ Serenity Now

I can see this ingenious idea being perfect for hand-outs for Halloween, or even for Christmas stocking stuffers. (Use red and white striped paper to mimic the look of candy canes!) Sweet Amanda always has the best ideas!

No. 6
Purple People Eater Luminaries @ DIY + FYI

Growing up in New Mexico, luminarias were always a big part of our Christmas festivities, but I love this idea of adapting the concept for Halloween, too! What a fun way to greet eager trick-or-treaters!

No. 7
Jack-o-Lantern Cookie Smiles on a Stick @ Munchkin Munchies

It just doesn’t get much cuter (or yummier!) than this!

Soak up all of the autumn goodness you can today, friends! And for those of you with snow in your neck of the woods – stay warm!
