Summer Survival Guide Recap

May 27, 2011 By Amy @ Positively Splendid

FacebookTweetPinYummlyPrint

I honestly cannot believe that May is coming to a close in just a matter of days. My son starts kindergarten on August 1, with the girls’ preschool starting soon thereafter. That means we have just a bit over two months to soak up as much fun as there is to be had out of this summer. I have no doubt that the ideas shared during the Summer Survival Guide will help us do just that!

Before I give a little recap of all of the projects shared over the course of the last four weeks, I want to thank each and every one of the contributors from the bottom of my heart for taking time out of their busy schedules to share their immense talents with us. I think what I loved most about the projects shared was how diverse they all were! From recipes to kid-friendly crafts, decor ideas to party tips, this series really ran the gamut of summertime goodness.

I love the water bombs, chalk paint, windproof picnic blanket and potato salad recipe. Can’t wait to try these this summer! My “baby” boy starts preschool this August, so we need to make some major memories this summer!

Thanks for a great recap- I think the ruffled sunglasses case is first on my list to try for me and the crayon melted rocks with my boys! As always, you rock Amy (and guests)- hope you are having a nice Memorial Day weekend too 🙂
